Today we have lost the father of rock 'n' roll- Charles "Chuck" Berry. He was 90 years old, and had an upcoming album this year. He was an extremely talented guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter. Rock 'n' roll music wouldn't have been the same without him. As John Lennon once said- "if you tried to give rock and roll another name, you might call it 'Chuck Berry'." Today is a very sad day. He and his music will never be forgotten.
