42 Gear Street Three was an event loaded with great guitar gear. And of course there were favorites – guitars, amps and pedals that everyone wanted to look at.

So in this video, I wanted to celebrate some of the more weird and wonderful (and relatively affordable!) guitar offerings that were on show. And I’m joined by Perfecto de Castro, Krenar Cilku and Henning Pauly to do it.

We picked out the instruments we loved, but thought had kind of got a bit lost amid the chaos of #42GSThree. Mostly, they’re offsets – and, weirdly, three out of the five are signature models!

The guitars we talk about are the headless Ibanez ICHI10 Ichika Nito signature model, the Harmony Silhouette with Bigsby, the Sterling by Music Man St. Vincent and Mariposa models (which are signature models for St. Vincent and Omar Rodriguez Lopez respectively) and the PJD Guitars St. John Standard. All great – yet wildly different – instruments, we give them a play, talk about their prices, specs and features, and who they’re for. Then decide which guitars we’d take from the show if we could!
