When John Jorgenson (The John Jorgenson Quintet, Desert Rose Band, The Hellecasters) was building a Telecaster, he asked his friends what pickups he should put in it. On the recommendation of some friends, he installed a set of our Alnico 2 Telecaster pickups. He told us they equaled his main guitars—a '53 Telecaster and a '68 Paisley Tele—which is about the highest praise you can get! Later on, John asked us to make the unique, split single coil pickups for his limited edition Fender MIJ Hellecaster model. Those are quite a rare find these days!
