Australian electronic artist Jakka has released his highly anticipated EP ‘Torn' including new single of the same name. The EP features four dynamic tracks that showcase his versatility as a producer and songwriter, incorporating driving garage electronica soundscape, the EP delivers a rich tapestry of sounds and emotions that draw the listener into Jakka's world.

The EP's titular track 'Torn' is a deeply personal song that has been with Jakka for over three years. He describes it as his "baby," and the first track he ever made that he was truly happy with. It's a song that captures the feeling of being caught between two worlds, and the struggle to find a way forward.

Jakka shared that the EP is his life story for the last three years and reflects the immense amount of change he has gone through during that time. "The purpose of this body of work was to find myself sonically and have something to show and say this is what I'm about, which inevitably forced me to look inward - what I liked, what moved me, what made me happy/sad," explains Jakka. "Turns out I have a deep love for my childhood innocence, and it was the feeling I wanted to tap into with each song. At its core, these tracks are really all about growth. I'm just really fascinated with understanding myself and why I am the way I am."
