This video is my longest yet talking about something which I think needs to change on YouTube, Meme Compilations. In my opinion shorts compilations are the worst since when they are monetized they are just profiting from the works of other people. Longer meme compilations are usually never monetized except when they buy the exclusive rights to the content or something similar though I couldn't find one which was monetized. There will also be a little side information about the policies from YouTube and how I interpret them. Besides meme shorts compilations there are also shorts clips channels, often posting memes or stunts from other creators. Blatantly going against the reused content guidelines in my opinion and stealing the revenue which would have been due to the original creators, since the clips are often so short that no1 searches for the og creator to watch it again. Of course following that train of thought you might think, why should not all meme compilations or shorts compilations be deemed unethical? In my case its my love for memes that makes me tolerate longer meme compilations since they help do what I used to love the most back then, watch shitposts. And in my opinion to put out a 40 minute shitpost compilation or a 15 minute one even can be pretty tedious, since you won't really get paid by ad revenue but have to rely on support of your fans. I am not sure about your stance towards reusing other peoples content and I hope this video gives you some information and food for thought.

yes this is inspired by justmehabibi in some ways but I wanted to put my own spin on his way of presenting content so yeah hope you enjoy!

I am not saying every video of every channel I showed is illegal in any way or should be demonetized. This is just my opinion and something that I realized and researched. The conclusions I got from reading the policies may be biased by my experiences or opinions. You should form your own opinion and not go harass anyone shown in this video.
