If you're the boss who keeps saying that you "can't find anyone to work," this is for you. 

1. Pay People What They're Worth
I don't care what the Federal Minimum Wage is— it's bullsh*t and you know it. People need to be paid a livable wage from day 1, or they are not going to stick around. 

2. Don't Be a Cheap @ss
If you're the boss in a restaurant and you aren't feeding your people, shame on you. If you want someone to work hard, why wouldn't you set them up with a good meal to keep them going?


Are you picking up on the common denominator here? Especially now, when so many people are out of a job, the last thing you should consider is taking advantage of that desperation. 

If you want your business to thrive, invest in your people. Common decency shouldn't be so hard to come by.
