Dylan Mulvaney has opened up about dating as a trans woman. ‘I think a lot about me and my trans girlfriends talk about not leading with the idea that someone's not going to be interested in us because of our transness. And instead I just let myself feel hot and confident. And I think other people could tell that.' However she has been revealing she has lost a lot of her confidence. ‘I lost a lot of confidence over the last year, and I've regained it in most of the other areas of my life.’ ‘I don't think in the last year I've been showing up in my most authentic ways with you. So I apologize for that.’
Dylan’s put the new feeling down to writing and performing her one woman play in the UK at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
‘I just let myself feel hot and confident. And I think other people could tell that. So it felt just great to be in my body and to share that with others.’ It seems that’s not the only reason she’s got a smile on her face. ‘I did some dating this summer. It was a very mamma mia summer.’ She goes on to tease that she has an exciting update coming this Wednesday with something she’s been working on for a long time. Dylan also tells her fans who are struggling to hang in there as good things are coming. 'If anyone is feeling really down right now, just know you got a holdout.
