Have you ever seen anyone does this let alone someone who dressed so oddly? It turns out, he's the town doctor. The only doctor in the entire town.
Most doctors don't want to live and work in small towns because they can make much more money elsewhere but this man didn't care. He just wants to help people. When patients couldn't afford medical fees he would pretend to win their names in a draw so they get treated for free.
He could never turn away a patient no matter what. So sometimes he cover the cost out of his own pocket. He even offers free breakfast to patients waiting. He opens door at 5 am in the morning. And patients would gladly lined up to be seen by him.
To him, money is the least important thing in the world when people are sick. He could never think to profit off of people's illness so even though he could make more elsewhere he never thought of moving. It's also not wrong for doctors who is more money driven because they may have lots of students loans to pay off and they want to see their efforts be paid off but it's also doctors like him who reminds us that selflessness exist. All doctors deserve respect so let's be kind to all doctors.
