This a parody diss track for Parody Dis for @Dee.J.Mogfry AKA @JohnDoe-j2s4q who needs to grow the f*ck up and stop trying to bully and harass ppl with his weird obsession with the sync button.

Little history about myself for those who don't know, I've been a DJ for over 30+ years. I started when I was 18, playing Hip Hop, DnB, Breaks, etc. The laughable irony is I actually spun vinyl for most of my career until later in life when I ended up selling my turntables and a lot of my vinyl (something I still regret to this day) because I had a 9-5 job and a partner, and never actually thought I'd play out again.

Then comes the digital age with mp3s, CDJs, and now controllers. I got back into DJing, but digitally this time, and it's amazing! I can honestly tell you I don't miss vinyl much at all. I don't miss the late nights and early mornings lugging around 3-5 crates filled with vinyl or the busted equipment in the clubs and pubs I played in - needles jumping, having to use stickers for cue points, carrying a torch to read the labels, counting bpms in your head, and wasting time trying to beat match tracks you just bought that day, etc.

About the only thing I miss about vinyl is the sound being better on certain cuts and being able to scratch certain types of scratches better. As you can tell with this piss take of a session, which by the way I did all in one take after about 10 minutes of practice. So it's not like I practiced an entire year to enter a DMC championship. I literally did this in response to this buffoon calling me a "fake DJ" and truth be told I don't really practice scratching that much these days and don't claim to be any good at it either.

Now onto why this video came about: I noticed on my good friend's channel @raversparadise (I highly recommend you all visit him and have a listen to his excellent mixes if you haven't already done so) that this guy was harassing and bullying him, saying he wasn't a good DJ because he used sync (the same thing he ended up doing to me on that unhinged alt account he created because he's a spineless coward). Honestly, who cares? Even world-renowned DJ, Jazzy Jeff says it doesn't matter, so if he doesn't care, it's good enough for me and it should be good enough for everyone else too because at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter as long as people are enjoying the music.

I won't harp on this too much more, but the reason he's upset with me is because I roasted him relentlessly after defending @raversparadise and all the other ppl I've seen him troll on other channels. He honestly said he had thousands of subscribers at his residency with @FantasyFM_Official but when you check the channel, they barely have 255 in total with every DJ and not much more on Facebook and their other socials. That's nothing against them, but he name-dropped that channel to big himself up, like he's some international superstar DJ. On the subject of internationals, he's trying to defame me by saying I never promoted any gigs or opened for the DJs that I helped bring over. Well, I'm more than happy to post the contracts and my bank statements showing the huge dent they put in it. I even have some of the event crew lanyards hanging from my doorknob to prove it!

That's why I made this video. To say, hey look stupid, I clearly can do things that "real DJs" do. I just choose not to all the time because most people don't want to hear crazy scratching and beat juggling. They just want a nice smooth transition from track to track and I'm just trying to cater to as many people as possible. Another thing, I tried doing a 90s style hip hop/turntablism mix the very first year I started my channel, but literally every track I mixed got copyright violations. That's the reason I don't really do them. But if people want me to do a bit more scratching (I promise I will use better samples and practice more before I do) in my mixes, I will do so!

Anyway, that's enough of me rambling, but I truly hope Matthew "Mogfry" grows up and realizes no one but him and a few jaded old DJs truly gives a flying f*ck about the sync button. It's just infantile behaviour. Stop bullying and harassing people because of your weird obsession and seek help because you clearly need it.
