This is a DIY stripboard clone of the Dunwich Cthulhu Fuzz, a great Doom Metal pedal. The Dunwich brand is no longer active, but Magic Pedals now makes many of the Dunwich designs. Support the builder, and get the original Cthulhu Fuzz here:

If you use a clean boost pedal after the Cthulhu, you get an even more saturated tone. The Fuzzthrone pedal that was built for Jon Davis of Conan (it was used on Blood Eagle and Revengeance) is based on the Cthulhu Fuzz, with a boost and tone section.
