Ken Okuda is a selector, music journalist and researcher from Berlin, inspired by all styles of dance music. He’s co-founded the sound system and record label SHUSH, bringing a soulful touch to Berlin dance floors. With a dedication to spinning vinyl and a keen ear for contemporary sounds, his sets move in numerous directions.

"This is a mix of some of my favourite Broken Beat – or bruk – records, blending classic cuts from the late 90s and early 2000s with a handful of fantastic contemporary releases. Discovering this unique and warm style of electronic music had a huge impact on me as a DJ. The heavily syncopated drums, sophisticated harmonies and catchy hooks always get me on the dancefloor within seconds. Most of the artists featured in my selection are very active and keep releasing incredible music."
