Kim Kardashian admits her children do not fully comprehend Tristan Thompson’s brother’s disabilities.“They have a lot of questions and, at times, they might not be the most comfortable,” the Skims founder, 44, said in a confessional interview on the latest episode of “The Kardashians.”
However, she recognized, “I think it’s so important that they play with him and they really get to know him.”
Amari Thompson has Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, a severe form of epilepsy, and is bound to a wheelchair.
In the episode, Kardashian’s four children — North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5 — were all invited to Khloé Kardashian’s house to celebrate the disabled teen’s 18th birthday.
Despite Khloé breaking up for good with Tristan, 34, in 2021, she has remained in Amari’s life and helped with his caregiving needs.
The NBA star, for his part, became his brother’s legal guardian after their mother, Andrea Thompson, died from a heart attack in January 2023.
