Who else is excited for DJI O4? 🤩

Here is a side by side comparison of the DJI O3 Air Unit and what we can expect the DJI O4 Air Unit to look like (as it’s likely going to share the Avata 2’s sensor) 🔥

As you can see, DJI O4 is a huge improvement in terms of recorded image quality. It has drastically better dynamic range and resolution. Now don’t get me wrong - I am a huge fan of O3 and it was game changing coming from the OG air unit, but I did feel the O3 always felt oversharpened, almost like a big ‘Sharpen’ layer had been dragged onto the footage. It definitely lacked in dynamic range compared to the likes of a GoPro/Action 4 too.

HOWEVER, the DJI O4 Air Unit is set to be completely game-changing and I truly believe it will replace the need for an action camera for the vast majority of fpv pilots out there. From flying both the Avata 2, and the Action 4/5, I can tell you now it is a HUGE improvement in terms of image quality 🎥
