The Cambridge Five was a local band in South Bend, Indiana that made good, got a record contract and had a record that was climbing the charts. The Cambridge Five recorded two singles for the USA label, the same label that "Kind Of A Drag" by The Buckinghams was on. The titles were: "Heads I Win / Floatin'" (USA# 850)
and "Keep on Running / I Hate To Laugh Alone" (USA# 875)
"Keep On Running" was their version of a song originally done by The Spencer Davis Group.

Group members were ...Doug Gast (manager ,trumpet & saxophone), Chuck Francour (keyboards & lead vocals), Denny Grounds (bass guitar), Mike Horton (lead guitar) & Rick Morgan (drums).....They started as a group in 1961 with the name Tradewinds in South Bend, Indiana and had a recording on The Destination label out of Chicago "Oop- Oop - A - Do" / "Floatin'" (Destination #620)
