This was a record which we put out anonymously as Brenton Colbert, on the Atlantic City label. The singer is in fact Lisa Stansfield's writing partner, Richard Darbyshire, who released two outstanding soul singles on the Dome label, THIS I SWEAR, and WHEREVER LOVE IS FOUND. His voice sounds like Johnny Bristol, rich, deep, and soulful. He started out as the lead singer of Living In A Box. In the early 2000s we tried out several obscure records under pseudonym names, but this is a 100% Ian Levine production. Unfortunately most of the copies got lumped in with some records seized for copyright reasons, and got melted down, despite my bitter complaints and opposition at the time. Therefore as a 45 it is incredibly rare.
