Engaged? We'd love to chat! This Paikka wedding video was one I was looking forward to all year. From the minute I hopped on a phone call with Mikayla and Matt I knew that their day would be full of love and energy and I was not disappointed.
From morning prep to open dancing at the end of the night everything about this paikka wedding just felt right. Mikayla and Matt are so clearly in love with each other and so clearly loved by their amazing friends and family.
The day started at the amazing Hewing Hotel in the north loop, Minneapolis, which happens to be one of my favorite hotels for brides and grooms to get ready at. Mikayla and Matt started their paikka wedding day with close friends and family in what was one of the most relaxed wedding mornings I've ever witnessed. After everyone was ready, Mikayla and Matt shared a beautiful moment up on the roof of the Hewing during their first look.
From there we ventured around Minneapolis and Saint Paul, eventually making our way to paikka, another favorite venue of mine. Mikayla and Matt's Paikka wedding was perfect, with the ceremony taking place outside in the courtyard and the reception inside the beautiful paikka space.
I was so honored to get to capture the love these two share and absolutely loved telling their story!
