This Christmas, we decided to ditch the gifts and take a trip to Cancun, Mexico as a family—and let me tell you, it was unforgettable. From spicy salsa that had us questioning our life choices to zip-lining through the jungle and kayaking on crystal-clear waters, this trip was full of adventures.Of course, no family vacation goes off without a hitch. While kayaking, my GoPro decided it needed a swim and sank to the bottom of the water, taking all the footage I had planned to share with it. 😅 But hey, setbacks like that remind me of what really matters—being present and making memories with the ones I love.
As I watched my kids grow and step out of their comfort zones on this trip, I couldn’t help but reflect on how fast time is flying. These moments are fleeting, and this Christmas reminded me to cherish the connection, laughter, and adventure we share as a family.
