Using the SP404a resample mode, I sampled a section of the song, "La" by Nils Frahm and gave it the downsampling treatment with the bit crusher effect. I resampled this again, twice, once with drums added on top, leaving me with 2 pads. After working out the nearest BPM, I created bass and synth flute parts and found other samples to fit the tempo. I imported all these into the SP404a so that each pad had a single instrument loop.
This video is just me improvising with those loops and a few extra one-shots.
