a surprisingly subtle and texturally dense track really; for me, these instrumental versions somewhat alleviate my main issue with the album: the way most of its tracks followed rather rote verse-chorus-verse structure, which is far less conspicuous when the vocals are removed (don't get me wrong though - i love Karl's vocals, he's the greatest male singer in electronica by far IMHO). sounds like the perfect track for night-time cruising if you ask me. i hope you enjoy it!
