Rub cooking oil on the rails and cow’s horns. Push the rails apart with a strong stick—never force the cow’s neck. For future prevention, strap cut tire strips (15cm wide) over the rails and hang bright plastic flags nearby—cattle naturally avoid waving objects. This costs almost nothing and works anywhere.
