happy Valentine's day!
a constant flow of short, naive, sentimental lo-fi folk tunes with acoustic or electric guitar, harmonica, bass and minimal percussion, as well as the occasional chatter between the members and their friends. the album was limited to 100 copies, most copies being personally dedicated to someone. it also comes with a lyric insert and newspaper insert that contains info from the high school the band went to as well as the recording process. it seems like the choice to make lo-fi basement folk was deliberate, according to the recording engineer on the insert. there's a lot of bittersweetness in the content of the entire album that leaves you with a warmth inside your heart that doesn't wear off. this is, as of writing, my favorite record i've ever discovered in the process of looking for and collecting Japanese private press folk. i hope that your love flows forever.
