In this video, I'd like to show you a new audio tool I recently picked up. It's called "DAW Cassette" and it's made by Klevgrand. Today I am using a USB interface to run my PO-32 Tonic Pocket Operator drum machine through DAW Cassette to show you how it works.
DAW Cassette emulates the noise, overdrive and saturation of classic cassette/tape players and recorders. It can be a useful tool to add slight dust and warmth to your recordings, get that lofi grit or just completely mangle your single source in a variety of ways.

I'm also taking this opportunity to announce a new album that came out September 18th 2020. I would be honored if you chose to give it a listen. You'll notice that I don't have ads on my channel. I don't ask people to contribute to a Patreon (not that there's anything wrong with that) but if anyone wants to support me, I would love for you to pick up some of my music. It's widely available on all music platforms but I personally prefer Bandcamp as they are fair and equitable to artists.
My new album 'Passage' is available here (or anywhere you get digital music):
Hey, let's connect on socials too!
