The proper way to install a bathtub drain. I filled the tub with water for a leak test and it leaked a lot. I didn’t use any plumbers putty or silicone on the drain. I thought the rubber gasket that came with the drain would be enough. I had to take the drain back apart and apply silicone and the leak completely stopped.
