Just as they went to investigate, the mother came back and claimed she was just doing a delivery on the 7th floor and had left the child in front of a security camera temporarily.
The man reminded her that someone could've just taken her easily. But the woman claimed she had no one to look after the child. So the man offered to babysit for her while she finish her orders. Grateful, she agreed. He's the owner of the supermarket that hadn't open yet.
When she came back, the man invited her to sit down and they discussed many things. After the child was born sick, her husband left her. The child has a brain issue and couldn't walk at 3 years old. She makes a couple thousands a month from selling street food and doing delivery. However, the medical fee is around $15k per month. She takes her child to different physical therapy lessons.
Despite the fact that doctors aren't optimistic about the child recovering. But just hearing her speak "mama" makes her think everything is worth it. She's grateful for everything knowing some people have it even harder.
The man was moved by her strength and even tried to stuff some money in her pocket and offered to help her babysit her child whenever she's in the area doing delivery.
