Frogs undergo metamorphosis just like butterflies and other insects. And they're not the only ones, but this video focuses on their metamorphic life cycle. There are three main stages of development for frogs. First, they start out as eggs. Then they hatch into tadpoles and start to develop legs and lose their tails and gills. This is the larva stage. Finally, they turn into adult frogs with the form that we all recognize so well.
