Emerging as a cornerstone of Australia's resurging underground scene, Discarnate has shared stages with artists such as Perc, Rebekah, I Hate Models, WNDRLST, Ansome, and an array of others. Tilt Shift sits firmly left of center, a difficult-to-label square peg that unintentionally fails to fit a pigeonhole. Borrowing from the photography term, Tilt Shift refers to two different types of movement, a selective focus with a large depth of field used to control perception. This can be applied to our music policy, tilting the vertical axis resulting in a sharp area of focus without reducing the depth of field. This movement is often used to avoid the convergence of parallel lines, or as we have come to think of it, it’s where the lines blur.
