Area 51 is a restricted military area in southern Nevada. The existence of the tightly secured complex, owned by the United States Air Force and the U.S. Department of Defense, was officially kept secret until 2013.Secret test flights in the restricted area and reports of unusual phenomena and events, such as the alleged crash of a UFO near Roswell, have long fueled theories and speculation about Area 51.
In addition to extraterrestrial technologies, the notorious military facility is even said to house alien life forms.
