Brought to their vet for surgery assessment it was found he had a sacroiliac subluxation.
This can cause excruciating pain plus often paralysis lasting for life.
Brit, however, rebounded well and can now walk and wag his tail even (things the vet said may never happen).
However he does have residual issues with bowl and bladder retention.
For this he wears a size 6 child's diaper (or small/medium adult incontinence garments).
We change that 2-3 x a day.
He is, in all other respects, a normal dog.
He would enjoy walks up to 1-2 miles a day or even just playing in the yard.
Brit is available to adopt; view more info and photos by going to A PAW UP Rescue on Facebook!
