Use a "HOT SOCK" to Help Straighten your Bowed Bass or Guitar Neck!

This Fender Precision bass neck is severely bowed and needs to be straightened. I will use clamp pressure to put an extreme backbow in the neck and then tighten the truss rod nut all the way. Then leave it set overnight and then check and see if it helped to straighten the neck out... cross your fingers.
In this video, I use my Hot Sock method to help apply heat to the neck and straighten it out, or, put it in a slight back bow. Try this method out for yourself.
