The first "Hip Hop" record was an Electro break dance song called Hip Hop Be Bop. In 1982, it was the "White boy" that element distinguished Hip Hop from Rap music. Hip Hop music, aside from Disco, Funk, Rap, and Soul, was actually Funk based New Wave developed in the industry by the same producers of Punk Rock in the 1970s ref. Malcolm McLaren who produced Brooklyn's Five Percenters, World Famous Supreme Team, before Zulu Nation came out with their version of the genre. Zulu Nation DJs followed the pattern of the 5 Percenters on WHBI 105.9 FM.
