-- FR -- Après un silence discographique de près de 9 ans entre 2012 et 2021, DESTINITY (@DESTINITYOfficial) revint sur le front de la scène death metal mélodique avec In Continuum en pleine pandémie de covid-19. Entre-temps, ils se sont produits notamment au fameux @HellfestOfficial en 2024. Bosseur et assumant totalement leurs influences death metal mélodique scandinave, le sextet lyonnais (fondé en 1996 !) sort en 2025 Ascension sur son propre label Crimson Productions, une très bonne galette de ce genre musical qui ravira les fans de DARK TRANQUILLITY, GARDENIAN, IN FLAMES, AT THE GATES, etc.

-- ENG -- After a recording hiatus of nearly 9 years between 2012 and 2021, DESTINITY returned to the forefront of the melodic death metal scene with In Continuum in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic. In the meantime, they performed at in 2024. Hard worker and fully embracing their Scandinavian melodic death metal influences, the Lyon sextet (founded in 1996 !) releases Ascension on their own label Crimson Productions in 2025, a very good album of this musical genre that will delight fans of DARK TRANQUILLITY, GARDENIAN, IN FLAMES, AT THE GATES, etc.
