Dr Erin D Michos, preventive cardiologist, (Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, US) joined us in New Orleans to comment on the new data from the CLEAR-Outcomes trial, that looked at the impact of bempedoic acid (ETC-1002) on the occurrence of major cardiovascular events in patients with cardiovascular disease or those at high risk of developing it who are statin intolerant.
