Sawyer is a phenomenal Israeli group that cannot be ignored. Ears are pricked and feet strut to the beat while big smile comes over your face. It's a country grunge combo with a sharp twist and fun cynical look. Their spicy rock'n'roll sends you to journey to the American south and west. The music style takes you from the Louisiana Bagous to the low down bars of Texas and back to the desolate deserts of the Rockies. The original songs combine unique vocals, humorous lyrics and an addictive guitar sound that gets you off you feet! Sawyer clearly has fun o the stage.

Sawyer began their activity in the end of 2012 after working together on several successful projects. The creative process of lyrics, music and arrangement is done by three of the band members under leadership of the group's founder and producer, Shay Moshe Moshe. Shay is a Rimon College of Music graduate and is well known in the Tel-Aviv music scene, working with known artists, Anat Esther Hitman, Hatapuzim, Meital Michaeli and Atara & the Retros. Atara Merhav brings the American flavor with her poi gent witty lyrics and her colorful vocals. Her energetic performance sweeps you away. Itai Freed, singer/ songwriter displays a quality of singing that hypnotizes and leaves no choice but to follow.
