Ritual is a Heavy/Doom Metal band from Brussels, Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium, that was formed in 1977 under the name of Weaver Of Insanity. In 1981, the band shortened its name to Insanity before changing it to Ritual in 1982. The band split up in 1987 but was reformed in 2000.

Tracks A1-A4 are from the 1986 "Ritual" 12" EP.
Tracks A6, A7, B1 are from the 2000 Demo CDr.
Tracks A5, B2, B3 are fom the same session as the 2000 Demo CD, but previously unreleased.
Track B4 was recorded live in the rehearsal room around 1985.
