I shot this footage back in 2008 or 2009. There are lots of great blues guitarists in this world, but very few who are also superb one-man bands, and only a small handful of THOSE have the greasy mojo and absolute conviction necessary to get folks not just dancing but GETTING DOWN.

Richard Johnston is one of those. He may be the only one. What he does here goes far beyond "music," far beyond "playing the blues." He's a one-man conjure-band.
