Here's a detailed look under the hood and underneath the all-new 2020 Ford Escape!The Ford Escape has a 3-cylinder Turbocharged engine with cylinder deactivation, an 8 speed automatic transmission, electronically disconnecting AWD, McPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension.
New for the Escape is an electric brake actuator (instead of a vacuum booster) and a secondary starter for the start stop system. The timing belt is dipped in engine oil for quietness and lubrication.
