But did you know Lil Wayne filmed the “Got Money” and “A Milli” videos in a 24-hour window? Our yearlong celebration of Hip-Hop at 50 includes Footnotes on classic videos, and pretty much everything from Weezy’s ‘The Carter III’ is certified gold. That includes the “Got Money” video. There’s ‘Inside Man’-inspired bank robbery, cameos from Nicki Minaj and Tyga, and T-Pain deep in his Top Hat Era. We politely asked Tunechi and Mack Maine to weigh in on the creative side of this gem, and in return they gave us lots and lots of deets.
