Sabor a Mi (Sophie Legay Peñaloza) is a romantic soul with an overflowing energy of love and pure joy. These traits led her very quickly to music and the role of multifaceted Selector and DJ (Vinyl and Digital), making her audience travel through her way of feeling the music.
Raised between Mexico and France, her proposals travel across several continents thanks to her curation of both organic and electronic Afro-Latin rhythms. Her reunion with the Mexican bolero and the discovery of salsa and African music were the triggers for the beginning of his career and where she found full inspiration. From there, she began to be passionate about the history of this music, investigating more every day and getting inspired by everything that surrounds it. For Sabor a Mi, rhythm knows no eras or borders. She seeks the paths that connect music with dance, the senses with the bowels, and above all, the pleasure of sharing.

"This selection is a tribute to my roots, to Mexico, and to my family and to what they taught me. It is partly made up of my grandparents' favourite bolero trios from the 50s. It is also a tribute to their love and the music they gave me, but also to Sabor a Mi, the song that became my DJ name, and to the tracks that have followed me since my earliest childhood and have contributed to who I am today. To this core, I have added other influences that, for me, have the same bohemian essence and expression as ranchera, soul and bolero from another era."
