Okay, so I have been trying to nail down the sound of a Sega Genesis (or Mega Drive). I’m happy to say that I’m very close. Both the bass and lead have Tonebooster’s BitJuggler, for extra crunch. The lead is from Saga Synth, which is a romper made of the sound chip from the Genesis (Mega Drive). The bass is a simple patch from BLEASS Monolit, but the glide is set to one-hundred and fifty milliseconds. This makes the bass feel like it actually comes from a Sonic game.
