So when I moved over to UK for the second time in my life (2010) and settled in Brighton this time, the very first things I bought was an Akai S1000 sampler, that I managed to score for 50 quid from eBay. And Soundcraft EFX12 mixing desk. At the same time I was asked to do a remix for a local producer and my friend, making music under SoulSonic, 101 and Giriu Dvasios names.Even though akai has 8 separate outputs, for this track I only used 6, as I didn't have enough cables :D I had to put 3 drum breaks, a bass, fx sounds, and few instruments in to 6 channels. There's not much in the mix either, other than gentle EQ, gain to add saturation and punch to the drums. And the delay is coming from Lexicon effects integrated in the mixer.
Simple stuff.
