At the NTSB’s investigative hearing into January’s deadly midair crash between an Army helicopter and an American Airlines regional jet, which killed 67 people, new evidence presented Wednesday suggests the helicopter pilots may not have known they were flying too high because a critical piece of equipment was malfunctioning.
