Native Instruments recently partnered with Akai to bring their Play Series to the MPC platform, leaving Machine users feeling caught off guard. In this video, I look at why this move sparked so much frustration, drawing comparisons to Sega’s decision to exit the console business. Could this be the beginning of the end for Native Instruments hardware? I share my thoughts on what this means for their future and the loyal Machine community.
