In this latest 'Pipe Organ Church Quest' video I discover St Twrog's Church, Maentwrog, Blaenau Ffestiniog LL41 4HN - North Wales - Snowdonia National Park. This very old pipe organ was saved from a ferocious flood last year. This beautiful 6th Century Church that was renovated and reopened in 1896 was hit by a terrible flood in 2021 - the worst flood seen in over 60 years. Fortunately the old pipe organ in the church was saved from the flood along with a lot of other antiquities but unfortunately quite a lot was lost! A special thank you to Mary, the church warden for letting me play the organ and showing us around St Twrog's Church.
