This is my to go to swim hole if every other spot i go is super thick frozen . It has a slow to fast current depending if the main lake is melting or freezing.f it is melting its quite the fast flow and acts like a machine current training pool, but I wouldnt know anything about that as I don't swim indoor pools. If you want to make up you will have to tack up through the current resist the water trying to flush you down stream, it's a very good workout , if it is slow flowing means every thing above is crazy frozen or mid summers lacking rain and it gets quite shallow with hardly any current. It's very small but is a very beautiful spot closed in among the trees and out of the harsh wind chill and gusts .
