"OOOOH HUSH, BABY! I'M A BAAAAAAD MAN!" He's got the look and a mean left hook! He's not crazy, nor mad! He's Johnny B. Badd!
Marc Mero burst into the WCW scene first as an enhacement talent (named "Mark Merro") in late 1990 and early 1991, but his athletic ability gained him a spot to work for something bigger, or shall I say, flashier. When Teddy Long was done with Ron Simmons and Butch Reed, enter Johnny B. Badd. The man burst in like a firework that May: all flamboyant, flashy and full of glitz. With his sequined robes, feather boas, lipstick stickers, eyelashes and the ever present "Badd Blaster", this man was a parading spectacle, drawing attention the moment he came out the curtains. Although an obvious inspiration from Little Richard in both swagger and antics, beneath all this glamour was a serious threat in the form of a former Golden Gloves boxing champion, along with high flying moves, explosive dropkicks, fast fists, and the deadly "Tutti Frutti". He first came out to this song when Teddy Long introduced him during Superbrawl I. This is my second Johnny B. Badd video, as I posted his later theme back in 2016.
