Sleep Token are an anonymous masked collective band from London, formed in 2016. The band is well-known for their genre-bending style of music. Sleep Token consist of vessel1 as the singer, vessel2 as the drummer, vessel3 as the bassist, and vessel4 as the guitarist (more commonly known as Vessel, ii, iii, and iv). They worship the ancient deity called Sleep. "We are here to serve Sleep and project His message." is what vessel answered when asked to talk about the band's lore. Vessel encountered Sleep in a dream, Sleep promised him glory and magnificence if he follows Sleep. Each song created is a "Token" (An offering) to the deity known as Sleep.

Since 2016, the band has released 2 EPs and 3 albums. They released their first EP 'ONE' in 2016. Their second EP 'TWO' was released not long after the band had their first live debut in 2017. In late 2019, the band debuted their first full-length album titled 'Sundowning'. The following year's summer, they released the deluxe version of Sundowning that contains 4 extra songs known as 'From The Room Below'. The band released their second album called 'This Place Will Became Your Tomb' (TPWBYT) in 2021. Their third album 'Take Me Back To Eden' (TMBTE) was released in 2023. Two years later in 2025, 'Even In Arcadia' was released.
