Proud to present my new beat tape: "Copyright Criminal". This album is a return to the golden age of sampling, keeping the essence but with new, innovative and fresh sounds that will make you fall in love with life again. After releasing my last EP last year, "Etéreo", an album in which the melodies were totally interpreted from scratch by me, I come back with what I enjoy the most, the sampling technique for creating beats, in addition to this album is a claim against the laws established against sampling, which I consider unfair. There are many years of strict laws that do not vary in relation to sampling and I think it is time to change it, so this album is a protest, a way of telling the world that the beat makers who work through this method have the right to earn money, since it is not because we do not know how to create melodies from scratch, but because we like to use this technique that keeps alive the essence of the golden age of Hip Hop. It is time for fair laws, which mark some limits in sampling, since even if you make great modifications and spend many hours working on your beats it is still considered a robbery and not a derivative work, I think it is time to mark some limits of what it is a robbery and what is a derivative work, we are not criminals. The initiative I propose is called #copyrightcriminal and I would like other beat makers tired of these unjust laws to join. I propose to upload our albums created through Sampling to Bandcamp, Youtube and Soundcloud, without working with distributors (in protest against the music industry).
