🟢 What makes it such a good exercise is its ability to demonstrates how flexible and modular Vital’s structure is. In my opinion this opens up many possibilities for complex patches where Vital’s different modules interact in ways that create a constantly evolving sound 🤩
✅ The principle behind it is very simple: after choosing the wavetables of your oscillators (let’s go with two) create a sequence like LFO shape using the first LFOs and use it to control their volume. To avoid playing both oscillators at the same time, use a second square shaped LFO to control the modulation intensity from the first LFO to the volume of both oscillators. Make sure this square LFO is inverted for one of its destinations to prevent both oscillators from playing simultaneously 😉
➡️ All that’s left to do is filter the oscillators with your favorite filters, add your favorite effects, and you’re good to go.
