A mediados de los años ochenta, gran parte del mejor italo-disco se producía en España, concretamente en Cataluña y, más concretamente, en la ciudad de Sabadell.Allí nacieron nombres como Koto, David Lyme, Alan Cook y muchos otros que, sorpresivamente, comenzaron a cosechar éxitos importantes en Europa, en Iberoamérica e, incluso, en Asia.
En 1986, y bajo el nombre de Latin Rose, se lanzó al mercado "Everyboy is gay", uno de los temas de club más famoso de aquel año. La canción, que formó parte de numerosos discos mix, tan propios de la época, ha aguantado bien el paso del tiempo y todavía es un placer escucharla hoy.
