Here is a video of a couple Amtrak Southwest Chief trains detouring over the Metrolink San Gabriel Subdivision through locations such as Baldwin Park, Pomona, Claremont, and Upland. After power lines fell across the Metrolink River Sub by Redondo across both the East and West Bank lines, Amtrak detoured the Chiefs over much of their ATSF Second District original territory before the permanent San Bernardino Sub routing, a rare treat to see these trains on former home rails. Excellent Narrow Font K5LA horns on the two leaders AMTK 206 and AMTK 60.
